General terms and conditions

1. INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) govern the legal relations between the customer (hereinafter “Customer”) and BUS PARTNER s.r.o. (hereinafter “Provider”), which provides bus rental services.
1.2 By submitting an order, the Customer confirms that they have read these GTC and agree to them without reservation.
1.3 The Provider reserves the right to amend the GTC at any time. The GTC valid at the time of order confirmation shall be binding for the Customer.

2. ORDER AND CONTRACT CONCLUSION

2.1 Orders must be submitted in writing (by email, via web form, or other agreed means).
2.2 A contractual relationship arises upon confirmation of the order by the Provider.
2.3 The order must include at least: date and time of transport, pick-up and drop-off locations, route, number of passengers, contact details of the Customer, and other specifics.
2.4 The Provider reserves the right to refuse an order without providing a reason.

3. PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS

3.1 The rental price is determined individually based on:

  • route and distance,
  • rental duration,
  • number of passengers,
  • type of provided vehicle (currently: Setra 515 HD, 2025 facelift model).

3.2 All prices are quoted excluding VAT unless otherwise agreed.
3.3 Payment is to be made in advance based on a proforma invoice unless agreed otherwise.
3.4 The balance is due no later than on the day of departure, payable in cash or by bank transfer (as agreed).
3.5 Prices are stated without VAT. Rate 23%.
3.6 Invoicing is carried out with a maturity of 15 days from the date of invoice.
3.7 Tolls, highway fees, fuel and all other costs associated with the operation of the vehicle during the rental are not part of the daily rate.
3.8 In the case of bus rental in connection with an insured event, the rental fee will be invoiced directly to the insurance company or the Slovak Insurers’ Office (SKP), whereby:

  • tolls, highway fees, fuel and other costs associated with the operation of the vehicle are paid by the lessee,
  • these costs will be re-invoiced by Bus Partner, s. r. o. based on the invoice from the Eurowag service provider,
  • a statement for the period in question will be attached to the invoice,
  • only the costs actually incurred will be re-invoiced without any increase.

3.9 In the case of commercial rental (outside of an insured event), all costs associated with the operation of the vehicle will be invoiced directly to the lessee according to the facts.
3.10 The Lessor reserves the right to change the price list.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

4.1 The Customer has the right to cancel the order in writing.
4.2 Cancellation fees:

  • More than 14 days before departure: no fee
  • 14 to 7 days before departure: 30% of the agreed price
  • 6 to 2 days before departure: 50% of the agreed price
  • Less than 48 hours before departure: 100% of the agreed price

5. OBLIGATIONS OF CONTRACTING PARTIES

The Provider undertakes to:

  • provide transport according to agreed conditions,

  • provide a technically fit, clean, and modern Setra 515 HD bus (2025 facelift model) with a qualified driver,

  • comply with applicable road transport regulations.

The Customer undertakes to:

  • provide complete and truthful information for order processing,

  • ensure passengers adhere to rules of conduct, including prohibitions on smoking and alcohol consumption in the vehicle,

  • avoid causing delays or damage to the Provider’s property.

6. LIABILITY AND CLAIMS

6.1 The Provider is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure (e.g., traffic jams, accidents, weather).
6.2 In case of technical failure, the Provider will arrange substitute transport within a reasonable time.
6.3 Claims must be submitted in writing no later than 7 days after the end of the transport.

7. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

7.1 The Provider processes the Customer’s personal data in compliance with applicable legal regulations (especially GDPR).
7.2 Data are used solely for contract performance and will not be disclosed to third parties without the Customer’s consent.

8. FINAL PROVISIONS

8.1 Matters not governed by these GTC are subject to the legal order of the Slovak Republic.
8.2 In case of dispute, the parties undertake to resolve it primarily by agreement.
8.3 These GTC are valid and effective from the date of their publication on the Provider’s website.
